SIMULATED EXPERIENCE. REAL-WORLD POSSIBILITIES.

From simulated worlds
to the real world.

Intelligence, shaped by experience.
Applied beyond its first world.

01 / THE VISION

Develop inside a world.
Become useful beyond it.

Ultrasi is a project for adapting intelligence developed inside UltraSim worlds and applying it to real-world tasks.

UltraSim is the environment where artificial beings can gain experience. Ultrasi focuses on what can be carried beyond that environment: useful capabilities, representations, and ways of responding to unfamiliar situations.

The aim is to identify what those beings develop, adapt it to different conditions, and test its usefulness in concrete tasks outside the simulation.

Real-world transfer is the direction of the project. The work is exploratory; useful capabilities need to be demonstrated in the setting where they will be applied.

02 / FROM WORLDS TO UNDERSTANDING

From experience
to application.

A proposed path from intelligence shaped inside UltraSim to capabilities tested in the real world.

  1. 01

    Develop in UltraSim.

Begin inside UltraSim worlds, where artificial beings can encounter objects, constraints, other beings, and consequences.

    THE ENVIRONMENT
  2. 02

    Identify what develops.

Study the capabilities that emerge through experience, and identify which might be useful beyond their original world.

    THE OBSERVATION
  3. 03

    Adapt for a new setting.

Investigate how those capabilities can respond to different inputs, uncertainty, and real-world conditions.

    THE RESEARCH
  4. 04

    Apply. Test. Refine.

Evaluate usefulness in concrete real-world tasks. Let the results guide further development and the next simulation.

    THE FEEDBACK

Conceptual research direction. An automated transfer or training pipeline is not being presented as a completed system.

03 / TWO PROJECTS. A SHARED CURIOSITY.

Developed in worlds.
Applied beyond them.

UltraSim develops the worlds and their experiences. Ultrasi explores how the intelligence derived from them can be applied outside.

04 / OPEN QUESTIONS

Big ambition.
Specific questions.

The directions we want to investigate.

01

What can carry beyond a simulation?

A capability learned in one world may depend on that world. The project asks which parts can remain useful when the inputs, constraints, and consequences change.

02

What should experience leave behind?

Memory should help an agent use earlier encounters in a later situation. We want to investigate which representations preserve useful experience, and how an agent might revise them when its world changes.

03

How does it adapt to the real world?

Real-world conditions introduce uncertainty, different observations, and unfamiliar tasks. Adapting and testing under those conditions is a central part of the work.

04

What makes an application useful?

By defining the real task, comparing outcomes, and repeating the evaluation. A capability is useful when it performs reliably in the environment where it is intended to help.
